Eurobike is widely regarded as one of the main events in the cycling calendar, with many of the cycling industry’s biggest brands gathering to launch exiting new products, designs and technologies. Here are just a couple of our highlights from the first few days.
Argon 18
Canadian bike manufacturer, Argon 18 has grown into one of the most well-respected performance brands on the market today and their latest release is no exception. The new Argon 18 Nitrogen has been equipped with disc brakes and has a fully re-engineered frame design, offering more comfort and 1X compatibility. In addition, there is also a smart cable routing solution, with plates that are compatible with different groupsets.
Northwave
With an already extensive and highly regarded range of footwear, Northwave have once again stepped up their game, with a new range of flat pedal specific shoes. With the new range comprising of two new models at two different price points there is an option for racier riders as well as riders looking for a more casual ride.
Coming in as the new top of the range flat MTB shoe for Northwave is the Clan. The Clan provides a grippy Gecko+ sole made with three layers of rubber for added stability. Each of the three layers adds a cushioning layer to help absorb impacts.
For riders that are looking for a more affordable option, Northwave have also introduced the Tribe shoe. Made using the standard Gecko rubber the Tribe shares many of the qualities found in the Clan but comes in at a lower price point due in part to the difference in sole.
